Juneteenth 2026

A weekend of celebration, culture, and community in North Port St. Joe

June 19–21, 2026

Freedom Day in North Port St. Joe

The North Port St. Joe community came together for a full weekend of Juneteenth 2026 celebrations — kicking off Friday with a block party on MLK Blvd and continuing with a parade through the neighborhood, horseback riders, live music, fireworks, and an indoor ceremony at Washington High School honoring the community's history and resilience.

This year's celebration honored Mr. Clarence Monette as Grand Marshal of the Port St. Joe Juneteenth Parade, a tireless advocate, photojournalist, and community historian dedicated to preserving the rich history of North Port St. Joe.
